Volkswagen is offering a substantial incentive to clear out its inventory of the 2023 ID.4 AWD Professional S Plus, providing $13,000 off the sticker price in conjunction with a new lease deal to make room for upcoming electric vehicle models?
2023 Volkswagen ID.4: Lease Deal Offers $13,000 Discount
Last year, the Volkswagen ID.4 emerged as the fifth most popular electric vehicle in the United States, experiencing a significant surge of 84 percent in sales compared to 2022.
Starting at an affordable $38,995, the ID.4 is already one of the most reasonably priced electric SUVs in the US market. The customary model, equipped with a 62-kilowatt-hour battery, boasts an estimated range of up to 209 miles. The ID.4 Professional’s EPA-estimated range is up to 275 miles, courtesy of its substantial 82-kilowatt-hour battery.
The ID.4 is equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 201 horsepower. With the addition of a dedicated entrance axle, the all-wheel-drive (AWD) ID.4 Professional model is capable of delivering up to 295 horsepower and an estimated range of 255 miles on a single charge.
Volkswagen has announced that most 2023 and 2024 ID.4 models will be eligible for the full $7,500 electric vehicle tax credit. Vehicles solely equipped with US-made SK On battery components will likely be eligible.
According to reports from December 2022, certain 2023 ID.4 models feature LG battery components as part of an earlier supply agreement arrangement. SK Innovation and LG Chem offer batteries for the rear-wheel drive (RWD) ID.4 models equipped with an 82-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Meanwhile, all-wheel-drive (AWD) and standard-range 62 kWh ID.4 models rely on SK-made battery packs for propulsion.
Volkswagen is now offering a lease deal that comes with $13,000 off the purchase of the 2023 ID.4 AWD Professional S Plus.
The ID.4 models equipped with Standard Range (SK) batteries meet the criteria. 2024 fashion trends do not typically incorporate LG battery integrations. The Volkswagen ID.4 comes equipped with either a Standard Range or Long Range battery, depending on the trim level and options chosen; to determine which battery your vehicle is fitted with, consult the window sticker or review your vehicle’s documentation.
As Volkswagen seems poised to make way for its latest electric offerings, it’s making room for a fresh lineup of innovative vehicles. Volkswagen has unveiled a longer-range 2024 ID.4 variant, alongside two new electric vehicle offerings: the ID.7 and ID. Buzz.
