US demand for Nissan’s inaugural electric SUV is surging. Nissan procured 3,765 Ariya units this autumn, with a total payment of $13,464 made in 2023.

As the electric vehicle market evolves and matures, Trisha Jung, senior director of EV technique and transformation at Nissan US, explained: “The updated pricing for our 2024 Ariya will enable us to maintain a competitive edge while ensuring we deliver maximum value to our customers.”
Nissan offers the Ariya in a duo of battery options: a compact 63-kilowatt-hour pack and a more substantial 87-kilowatt-hour variant, accompanied by a selection of two drivetrain configurations: front-wheel drive or its innovative dual-motor e4ORCE all-wheel-drive system. The 2024 model’s estimated fuel economy offers up to 304 miles on a single tank of gas per the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Ford’s recent move to introduce Tesla Supercharger compatibility has prompted Nissan to announce that it will release a NACS adapter for the Ariya by the end of the year.
Ford has minimised costs on its Mustang Mach-E, a move that follows the introduction of new incentives for the F-150 Lightning electric pickup just last month.
