Zeekr’s First RHD (Right-Hand Drive) Global Delivery Made Possible in Thailand.

Zeekr announced a milestone on August 2: the production of its first right-hand drive (RHD) Zeekr X model, which rolled off the assembly line in Thailand on August 1. The Zeekr X RHD is now available in Thailand with two trims, each offered in five exterior colours: Athens Cloud White, Paris Brown Rice, Hangzhou Green, Su Mo Grey, and Berlin Silver Grey. Pricing starts at 1.199 million baht (approximately $34,000 USD), or 1.349 million baht ($38,400 USD) for the higher-end trim.

Currently, four pop-up Zeekr stores are open in Bangkok. By the end of 2024, Zeekr is expected to establish a presence with 14 retail outlets in Thailand.

The Zeekr X RHD Launch Convention in Thailand?

Zeekr’s first-ever right-hand drive (RHD) model, the Zeekr X RHD, officially launched in the Thai market on July 11. According to Zeekr’s latest launch in China, the Zeekr X RHD closely mirrors its facelifted counterpart, boasting a refreshed exterior and interior design tailored specifically for the Thai market. Notably, the vehicle system features enhanced leisure streaming capabilities.

By mid-June, Zeekr had expanded its presence to more than 25 countries, including Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, while also forging partnerships with companies in Israel and Kazakhstan. Recently, sightings of the Zeekr X were reported on Australian roads. The Australian market is expected to see the pre-order window open in August, with supplies set to commence at the end of November, according to local reports.

Moreover, Zeekr’s X RHD model officially debuted in the Singaporean market today, with a starting price of $199,999 for the standard trim and $214,999 for the flagship trim, equivalent to approximately ¥1.08 million and ¥1.17 million, or $150,700 and $162,000 USD, respectively.

By the end of July 2024, Zeekr successfully delivered a total of 15,655 vehicles, marking a year-over-year growth of 30%.

Throughout the initial seven months of the year, Zeekr’s cumulative supply total reached 103,525 vehicles, representing a remarkable 89% year-over-year increase.
