During his third attempt, Yvon Duhamel, a skilled motorcycle enthusiast, successfully modified a Kawasaki Z1, resulting in a series of impressive performance records.
The highlights included a new world record for an AMA closed-course lap at 160.199 miles per hour, a global best for 10 kilometres absolute pace at 150.845 miles per hour, and a new mark for 100 kilometres pace at 141.439 miles per hour.
As Duhamel’s successful stint came to a close, the remaining two bikes were rolled onto the observation course. Twenty-four hours ahead, eight riders are primed to embark on a thrilling journey, having navigated the intense and demanding pace of the event thus far.
Across the 24-hour challenge, riders consistently completed a 1.5-hour stint in the saddle. Each session covered a distance of more than 150 miles, with a sole break taken at the 70-mile mark to refuel. By the end of the 24-hour period, the bikes had completed numerous laps at a median speed exceeding 100 miles per hour. Without any mechanical issues, Kawasaki shattered three new records with their fleet of bikes.

New data have been collected for two All-American titles: distance and pace. The crowning jewel of their accomplishments was actually the world record they worked tirelessly to set, shattering the 24-hour pace endurance benchmark. The newly created document recorded an impressive distance of 2,630.402 miles at an average speed of 109.602 mph.
