2024 Jaguar I-Pace unveiled with sleek new facelift and R-Dynamic models
SHARE

The 2024 Jaguar I-PACE has taken its sleek electric vehicle to the next level with a fresh redesign, cutting-edge technology features, and additional R-Dynamic trim options, further elevating its appeal.

In 2018, Jaguar launched the I-PACE, its inaugural all-electric vehicle, boasting an unconventional design and impressive energy efficiency. Jaguar’s electric car, a symbol of the brand’s excellence, quickly garnered widespread acclaim and won an impressive 90-plus awards, including the coveted title of World Car of the Year in 2019.

Although some speculated that the Jaguar I-Pace could be a formidable competitor to the Tesla Model X, its distinct design diverged significantly from Tesla’s sleek, minimalist aesthetic, instead carving out a niche of its own with its richly trimmed, button-laden cabin.

Despite its early success in surpassing rivals such as Audi and Porsche in the electric vehicle (EV) market, the I-PACE has experienced a series of setbacks, ultimately losing momentum due to a lack of significant updates.

By 2025, Jaguar intends to transform into an electric-only brand through its Reimagine strategy, with the I-PACE poised to occupy a central role. Jaguar is poised to elevate its I-PACE for the 2024 model year, solidifying its position as a pioneer in the all-electric SUV segment.

Jaguar has unveiled a refreshed version of its 2024 I-PACE.

The 2024 Jaguar I-PACE is set to boast a revamped aesthetic, bolstered technical specifications, cutting-edge innovations, and a more assertive R-Dynamic styling package, elevating its overall driving experience.

The Jaguar claims that its 2024 I-PACE boasts an unparalleled synthesis of efficiency, refinement, agility, and expertise, backed by a respectable range and enhanced technology features.

  • The electric vehicle’s advanced powertrain features a 90 kWh battery that enables a remarkable driving range of approximately 470 km or 292 miles, as certified by the World Light Vehicle Test Procedure.
  • With its remarkable 294 kW (394 horsepower), 696 Nm (513 pound-feet) of torque, and intelligent all-wheel-drive system, this vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 4.8 seconds.
  • A sleek new grille, Atlas Grey entrance aperture blades, and body-coloured door trimmers deliver a simplified, streamlined appearance.
  • The R-Dynamic SE trim now comes standard with a Black Pack, while all models in the range feature diamond-turned wheels with Gloss Dark Grey accents.

  • The I-PACE now boasts an enhanced visual appeal with the addition of further satin finishes in Eiger Gray and Carpathian Gray metallic paint options, offering a sleek and modern aesthetic.
  • Offered in R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE, and R-Dynamic HSE trim levels.
  • The Pivi Professional infotainment system features intuitive navigation, seamless integration with Apple CarPlay, and effortless connectivity through Wi-Fi for Android Auto, setting a new benchmark in modern motoring. The Over-The-Air (OTA) software program updates enable future enhancements.

Nick Collins, government director of Jaguar’s car packages, remarked that the 2024 I-PACE refresh is a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

The I-PACE offers a comprehensive package of efficiency, agility, expertise, and regular usability that customers expect from a Jaguar, coupled with the refined, quiet, and effortless driving experience that electric powertrain provides.

With our latest mannequin, we’re building on our success by offering an even more curated and detailed specification package, further refining our approach to delivering high-quality results.

While Jaguar works on upgrading its powertrain hardware, a crucial step remains: announcing pricing for the US market. The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 refresh, rather than a reboot, is expected to bring incremental updates, potentially including exterior design tweaks, such as revised front and rear fascias, new wheel designs, and possibly additional color options. Interior upgrades might include enhanced infotainment systems, improved materials, and possibly a reorganized cabin layout. Powertrain enhancements are also likely, with potential revisions to the electric motor, battery, or transmission for increased performance, range, or efficiency.
