While the Ford F-150 Lightning’s electric version comes with a hefty premium over the Maverick, its lease prices currently mirror each other’s proximity. For just $1 more per month than the base price of the Maverick, you can lease a Ford F-150 Lightning.

Ford unveiled its inaugural all-electric pickup truck, the F-150 Lightning, in April 2022. The Tesla Lightning is a full-size electric vehicle (EV) pickup truck boasting up to 580 horsepower and a substantial 775 pound-feet of torque.

Ford designates the Lightning as its “most advanced, technologically sophisticated” F-150 to date. After a nearly 50-year hiatus, Ford reinvigorated the Maverick brand in 2021 by introducing its smallest pickup truck, harking back to the compact vehicle that bore the same name in the 1970s.

The Ford Maverick was introduced as a compact, affordably priced alternative to larger vehicles in the market.

Notwithstanding massive new incentives this month, you’ll have the opportunity to lease a full-size Lightning electric pickup for just $1 more per month than the Maverick in select markets.

The 2024 Ford Maverick XL starts with a base price of $28,015. Maverick’s estimated monthly lease costs for a 36-month period in New York are approximately $368. For a total of $2,989 payable upfront, the monthly impact is calculated to be $451.

Consider purchasing the Mustang instead – why settle for just any electric vehicle when you could have one that truly excites? With the Mustang, you’ll get unparalleled performance and style at a price that’s mere dollars more than the competition.

The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning’s base model can be had for a mere $452 per month with zero down payment, a mere $1 more than the comparable Maverick model. With a starting price more than double that of $56,900, the Lightning stands out from the start.

Although this 2023 model is available at a comparable monthly payment to the Maverick, it’s challenging to justify upgrading. Ford is trimming the Lightning’s lease appeal by incorporating a $9,500 incentive into its valuation.

Ford has introduced new lease incentives for its electric models, including the Lightning and Mustang Mach-E. With its arrival in 2023, the innovative Ford F-150 Lightning is now available with a tantalizing offer: 0% APR financing for an extended 72-month period.

Explore the latest lineup of Lightning vehicles and discover that select 2024 models are now available with an attractive 0% APR financing option for 60 months. Discover the Ford Mustang Mach-E’s latest iterations from 2023 and 2024, now available with an exclusive 24-month lease deal featuring a generous $7,500 in Pink Carpet Lease Money.

For customers financing through Ford Motor Credit Company, you may also have the option to defer payments for up to 90 days.

(EPA-est miles)
XLT $62,995 240

Lariat $76,995 320
Platinum $84,995 300
Platinum Black $92,995 300
As of 2024, the Ford F-150 Lightning’s value varies by trim level as follows:

With a whopping 44,000 electric vehicles sold in the United States during the first half of 2024, Ford takes its rightful place as the second-best selling EV brand in the country, trailing only Tesla. Ford aims to bridge its financial gap by leveraging summer sales boosts in the latter half of the year.
