Just days after Zeekr revealed camouflaged images of its inaugural mid-sized 7X SUV, more photographs have surfaced. The Zeekr 007’s sleek design aesthetic carries over to this SUV, which boasts a projected range of over 700 km thanks to its anticipated 800V electrical architecture.

The letter X designates this model as a member of Zeekr’s esteemed SUV lineup. The Zeekr X SUV, a compact vehicle, is dwarfed by the larger 7X SUV. The design incorporates the revered golden ratio of approximately 0.618, famously observed in nature’s harmonious arrangements to generate visually stunning configurations.

Introducing a comprehensive range of game-changing design components that are poised to revolutionize the way you approach innovation. With a smooth, aerodynamic design featuring an LED strip along the front grille, angular lower headlamp clusters, and a rooftop outfitted with advanced laser radar technology, this vehicle is equipped to deliver exceptional driver-assistance capabilities. The profile features its hideaway door handles, while the rear boasts a nearly seamless taillight design that incorporates Zeekr’s innovative super-red LED technology, both elements combining to create a sleek and futuristic appearance.

The 7X smartphone leverages the robust PMA2+ platform, which is rooted in the versatile SEA modular architecture. The vehicle boasts dimensions of 4,825mm x 1,930mm x 1,656mm, with a wheelbase stretching 2,925mm in length. Meanwhile, the Zeekr 007 measures an impressive 4,880 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,448 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 2,928 mm.

The SUV is equipped with cutting-edge silicon carbide electric motors, seamlessly integrated with advanced lithium-iron-phosphate and ternary-lithium battery systems. Zeekr’s focus on reducing resistance optimizes energy efficiency, distinguishing its innovative approach from competitors employing distinct battery technologies that struggle with inferior performance.

The entry-level model features Geely’s “Golden Brick” lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery, capable of delivering up to 500 kilometres on a single charge within a quarter-hour due to its advanced 800V high-voltage system. The upcoming models will feature advanced ternary NMC batteries supplied by CATL, mirroring the powertrain configurations found in our 007 sedan range.

The interior of the 7X echoes the Zeekr 007’s sleek cockpit aesthetic, boasting a curved instrument panel, an elegantly suspended heart-rate display, and a reimagined steering wheel that seamlessly integrates with the overall design.

The 7X, priced between $33,000 and $48,200, may be launched by the end of the year to compete fiercely with the upcoming Xiaomi MX11 SUV and other models in the evolving electric SUV market, including the Tesla Model Y, Li Auto L6, and Onvo L60.
