The RS-Zero DXB edition, specifically designed for the Dubai Electric Scooter Cup, was unveiled through a joint announcement by the Federation for Micromobility and Sport, in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council.
Designated as the swiftest electric racing scooter globally, this vehicle boasts an impressive top speed of over 140 km/h (87 mph). The scooter boasts cutting-edge technology, boasting an impressive lean angle of more than 58 degrees.
While various electric scooter racing leagues have emerged, none have yet reached such remarkable velocities.
Seventeen thrill-seekers – eight women and nine men – are set to converge in Dubai on December 16, 2023, for an electrifying event: racing the globe’s fastest e-scooters on a specially designed street circuit. The event will feature a thrilling knockout format, pitting riders against each other in a battle for the coveted title of Dubai Electrical Scooter Cup Champion.
The strategic location of Dubai as the host city holds paramount importance, according to Alex Wurz, President of the Federation for Micromobility and Sport.
