Suzuki’s retro-inspired charm persists with the 2025 Boulevard M109R, a carryover model from last year with one notable exception: a $100 price hike, now starting at $15,799.

The M109R boasts a substantial 1,783cc eight-valve V-twin powerplant situated within a robust double-cradle metal frame, supported by a sturdy 46mm fork offering up to 5.1 inches of travel and a spring-preload-adjustable single shock delivering as much as 4.6 inches of travel.

The radial-mount twin-entry brakes pay homage to Suzuki’s GSX-R1000R, providing a substantial amount of stopping power for the 764-pound motorcycle. The shaft-driven transmission promises minimal maintenance demands, while features such as the five-speed gearbox and straightforward instrumentation evoke a bygone era; conversely, the persistent lack of anti-lock braking system (ABS) is similarly nostalgic.

Since its launch in 2006, the Boulevard M109R has become a staple for many, particularly for taller riders who appreciate its low-slung and expansive cockpit design. The innovative design boasts ample energy output, offering a fresh and captivating visual appeal. Although some owners have reported inconsistent performance, minor issues with fueling and throttle response can be addressed through targeted storage and aftermarket upgrades.

Available exclusively for the 2025 model year, the new offering will debut in a sleek Glass Sparkle Black hue, complemented by striking chrome accents that seamlessly blend tradition and style.
