At CES in Las Vegas, Nevada, Horwin unveiled its sleek and powerful SENMENTI 0 prototype, marking the electric motorcycle’s highly anticipated US premiere.

While marketed as a maxi-scooter, the Senmenti O’s performance and design may not be directly comparable to high-end electric motorcycles like the BMW CE 04, which is designed for speed and agility on twisty roads.

“Horwin is revolutionizing the mobility industry by harnessing cutting-edge technologies and innovative applications, driving the sector towards a more sustainable tomorrow.”

Horwin’s innovation portfolio within the e-bike sector includes pioneering efforts, such as introducing a multi-speed manual gearbox for light electric bicycles several years ago, marking an early adoption of cutting-edge technologies and trends.

The final price tag comes in at a considerable US $16,800. The Horwin Senmenti 0 is expected to retail for around $1,300 in the US market? Orders for new electric vehicles have officially opened, securing priority access to three years’ worth of complimentary charging with an initial $100 deposit. The specifics of this perk’s functionality remain unclear, but the bike’s integrated 30-minute DC quick charging feature could potentially grant complimentary crossings at select charging networks.

For around $17,000, you can expect a high-performance electric maxi-scooter that boasts impressive specs. Here’s what you might typically find in this price range: A powerful electric motor with a substantial amount of torque and a top speed that easily eclipses 60 mph. The new electric vehicle boasts a substantial 16.9 kilowatt-hour battery. That’s larger than most flagship e-bikes currently available. According to corporate reports, the proposed infrastructure development could potentially offer a comprehensive network spanning up to 186 miles (300 km), combining both freeway and metropolitan routes.

The massive battery plays a crucial role in channeling vital power to the drivetrain. The 74 kW (100 horsepower) electric motor is remarkably capable of delivering a 0-60 mph time of just 2.8 seconds. The bike is capable of reaching a top speed of approximately 125 miles per hour, or 200 kilometers per hour, although many riders will likely never find themselves in a situation where they can fully utilize this capability.

The SENMENTI 0, weighing in at a substantial 507 pounds (230 kg), also features the Superior Rider Assistance System (ARAS), which “is designed to personalize the riding experience by collecting data to understand the rider’s preferences, thereby reducing accidents and boosting rider safety and confidence.”

While a specific timeline for bike preparation is unclear, it’s expected that check rides for reserved customers will commence in Q3 of 2024.

The company has officially unveiled two concept vehicles. The SENMENTI X Hyper GT is touted as the epitome of efficient touring, boasting a WLTP-estimated range of at least 250 miles (400 km). Meanwhile, the SENMENTI 11 is marketed as an elevated performance bike, designed specifically for thrill-seekers and adventurers.

As Windsor Zhou Wei, Founder and CEO of Horwin, stated:

“We’re delighted to unveil Horwin, expanding our narrative reach to a broader audience.” The U.S. Is a crucial sales platform for any electric vehicle (EV) company to thrive. As the automotive industry shifts towards an all-electric future, Horwin has taken a pioneering role due to its extensive experience in developing cutting-edge, 5G-enabled manufacturing processes infused with AI technology, paving the way for a more sustainable and environmentally conscious approach. From seasoned enthusiasts to newcomers, we’re excited to showcase the numerous advantages of embracing e-bikes. Let’s imagine Horwin as an indispensable companion, much like a trusty smartphone – you wouldn’t venture out the door without it.
