The FXRX-Wedge is a customized bike in-built 2010 by Dougz Customized Paint & Fabrication in collaboration with S&S Cycle and Rolling Thunder Manufacturing, aimed to create a ‘customized’ bike that could possibly be titled and insured inside an inexpensive funds by financial requirements at the moment.

The mission concerned lengthening a 1992 Harley-Davidson FXR body and swingarm, putting in a 132ci S&S X-Wedge V-twin with an S&S five-speed WX-R transmission, modifying the gas tank, becoming a two-into-one exhaust system with customized headpipes and a Bassani muffler, and refinishing the bike in black.

The bike garnered widespread acclaim, with its feature appearance in the September 2010 edition of American Iron Journal and the January-February 2012 issue of IronWorks magazine. This unique motorcycle boasts customized features rivaling those of a solo seat, featuring a specially designed 4.2-gallon gas tank, a Kuryakyn taillight, a one-quarter fairing complete with tinted windscreen, and Harley-Davidson Dyna mid controls reworked to accommodate Avon foot pegs.

The FXRX-Wedge premiered at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati, Ohio, in February 2010. Subsequently, it was displayed in S&S Cycle vendor spots at main bike rallies throughout the USA all through the summer season of 2010. Notably, this powerplant stands out as the original manufacturing unit, its unique identity confirmed by the VIN ending in “00001” on the motor case, while the transmission’s serial number, ending in “0002”, further underscores its primacy.
