The DBX has reigned as Aston Martin’s top seller, a financially savvy and efficient SUV. Nevertheless, despite its success, the model’s interior has long lagged behind its competitors in terms of stylish innovation. With the revamped interior of the newly launched DB12, the same treatment is now being applied to the DBX 707. The era of traditional DBX models has come to an end, and we’re perfectly fine with that, as the 707 effectively launched the supercar identity that only slightly deviated from the typical DBX. While the exterior’s bold 707 design may evoke a sense of rowdy enthusiasm, the interior boasts a fresh, modern makeover that exudes a stylish vibe. The all-new DBX features a cutting-edge touchscreen infotainment system, accompanied by an intuitive user interface and modern design, eliminating the complexity associated with its predecessors.
The brand-new, in-house-developed Aston Martin touchscreen infotainment system boasts a sleek design. The steering wheel appears refreshed alongside a sleeker touchscreen with significantly reduced clutter compared to its predecessor. The revamped steering wheel boasts enhanced ergonomics and a more streamlined design, while still preserving tactile controls for key functions. The redesigned D-pull door launch handles and vertical air vents now harmonize perfectly with vibrant chrome or darkened chrome interior trim accents. Carefully inspect the exterior, and you’ll discover that the entrance door’s veneer panels boast larger designs and an array of fresh materials, including glossy smoked oak, titanium mesh, modern ziricote wood, piano black, and cutting-edge carbon fiber veneers.
Marco Mattiacci, International Chief Model and Industrial Officer of Aston Martin, declared that the brand-new DBX707 sets a new ultra-luxury SUV standard with its unmatched efficiency, world-class design, and unparalleled ranges of luxury. As a technological masterpiece, the DBX707 boldly revamps the benchmark for high-performance excellence.
The in-car entertainment system boasts a multitude of features, including wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi, seamless integration with Apple CarPlay, and streamlined access to Android devices through Android Auto. Additionally, it offers numerous USB-C charging points and uninterrupted online connectivity, further enhanced by the Aston Martin buyer app’s comprehensive functionality.
The digital dashboard on the new model boasts an impressive 12.3-inch display, expanding upon the existing screens found in the DB12 and Vantage by a significant 1.5 inches.
To further personalize the Aston, new exterior options have been introduced, featuring a range of vivid hues including Epsilon Black, vibrant Helios Yellow, energetic Dash Green, rich Malachite Green, and radiant Aura Green, with the bonus addition of Podium Green. New additions include 23-inch Fortis wheels finished in Satin Black, as well as 23-inch Solid wheels presented in Copper Bronze. The latest updates feature modernising ‘presenting’ door handles and sleek, flush-mounted glass swivel-head door mirrors. The tool’s checklist has now been equipped with a Superior Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
The DBX 707 boasts a defiantly powerful 707PS/900Nm 4.0-litre V8 engine, paired with a smooth-shifting 9-speed wet-clutch transmission and advanced Carbon-Ceramic brakes. Deliveries of the DBX will commence later this year, but this luxury SUV is well-equipped to take on the extremely popular super SUV segment.
