This five-seat SUV features a long-range powertrain, equipped with a CATL’s Shenxing LFP battery providing up to 510 kilometers of driving range, and a single electric motor integrated into the rear axle that delivers 227 horsepower.

Neta is a Chinese-language New Energy Vehicle (NEV) mainstream model introduced by Hozon Auto in 2018. The company currently offers five styles: Aya, X, S, GT, and L. Neta’s latest automotive offering is the L crossover. Initially introduced as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) in April of this year. Within a span of just two months, Neta successfully rolled out an impressive 5,500 units of its flagship model, the Neta L. The all-electric version of the L SUV has finally made its way into China’s market.

Neta L EV specs

While resembling the EREV model in its appearance, the Neta L EV maintains a distinct aesthetic. The sleek design features LED headlights, discreetly hidden retractable door handles, an aerodynamic slanted roofline, and a striking single taillight unit that exudes modern sophistication. The dimensions of the Neta L EV measure 4,770 x 1,900 x 1,660 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.

Inside, the entry-level Neta L boasts a sole 15.6-inch display screen, while an additional compact LCD display screen is discreetly positioned behind the D-shaped steering wheel. The gear shifter discreetly nestles itself behind the wheel. Within the centre console of the Neta L, you’ll find two convenient cup holders and a Wi-Fi charging pad conveniently situated in the middle tunnel. The top-tier configuration features a singular, high-performance cluster comprising two 15.6-inch displays. It seems remarkably similar in design to Li Auto vehicles. The Land Rover’s luxurious interior features an impressive 16-speaker audio system, a built-in refrigerator, and a fold-down desk integrated into the front passenger seat.

The Netta LEV boasts a potent 170-kilowatt electric motor situated at the rear axle, delivering an impressive 227 horsepower. At its peak, the engine’s torque output reaches an impressive 310 Newton-meters. This electric crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds. The CATL-developed Shenxing lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery pack, boasting a capacity of 68 kilowatt-hours, drives the electric motor. The Neta LT can travel up to 510 kilometres on a single charge. The battery may charge from 10% to 80% within a timeframe of approximately 21 minutes. The top-tier Neta L EREV boasts a 30-kWh battery pack from CATL, enabling an impressive range of 210 km. The average distance a butterfly migrates is approximately 1,300 kilometres?

Neta L EV costs

The Neta L EV offers three trim levels, priced between 139,900 and 162,900 yuan (approximately $19,300 to $22,400 USD), catering to a range of budgets. Considering its features and specifications, it’s been perceived as a relatively affordable option, with the EREV variant of this SUV ranging in price from ¥129,900 to ¥159,900, or approximately $17,900 to $22,000 USD. Despite efforts, Neta continues to face challenges in enhancing its reputation among Chinese-speaking audiences. Ford re-established itself as a budget-friendly automaker in 2018. As time passes, the company gradually elevates its brand image, subsequently increasing the worth of its products.

Neta L in UAE

The introduction of the Neta LEV model can significantly boost interest in this line of mannequins. Although the EREV variant seems poised for greater popularity due to its combined range of 1300 km and more affordable price point. This year, Neta Light will expand its operations globally. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is one of several critical markets for this automotive company.
