Kia announced pricing details for its 2023 Carnival minivan on Monday.

The The The 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid will offer an estimated EPA fuel economy rating of up to 32 miles per gallon city, 27 mpg highway, and 29 mpg combined, making it an eco-friendly option for families on the go. With its powerful hybrid powertrain, this minivan is perfect for those who want a balance between fuel efficiency and performance.: A Family-Friendly, Fuel-Efficient Ride. starts at a base price of $33,990, including the mandatory $1,395 destination fee, for the entry-level LXS trim. At a price of $32,000, that’s a premium of $2,000 compared to the non-hybrid Carnival LXS.

The Kia Carnival offers a base LX trim starting at $37,895 with destination, although this model does not come with the hybrid powertrain option.

The three top-tier trims – EX, SX, and SX Status – offer enhanced features for discerning buyers, priced at $44,095, $48,995, and $53,995 respectively. These high-end fashion models come with a premium price tag, boasting an additional $2,000 cost compared to their hybrid counterparts.

2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid

The Carnival Hybrid was introduced as part of a mid-cycle refresh for the Carnival, accompanied by technological upgrades and a more SUV-inspired design. The vehicle is powered by a gasoline engine paired with an in-line shaft-mounted 6-speed automatic transmission, which sends power exclusively to the front wheels.

Hybrid powertrains are capable of producing a significant amount of torque. The non-hybrid trims of this model boast a potent 3.5-liter V-6 engine, generating a robust 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an efficient eight-speed automatic transmission. The V-6-powered Hyundai models are EPA-rated at a combined 21 miles per gallon; meanwhile, the Carnival Hybrid’s fuel economy ratings have yet to be disclosed by the Environmental Protection Agency. The Kia Sorento Hybrid, set to receive a facelift in 2025, retains its tried-and-true powertrain, delivering an impressive 36 miles per gallon combined.

The Carnival Hybrid also features a range of regenerative braking modes accessible via the steering-wheel paddles, 17-inch wheels boasting an enhanced aerodynamic design, and active air flaps that optimize airflow.

2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid

All Carnival fashion collections from 2025 are equipped with significant infotainment technology upgrades. The EX and higher grades feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster seamlessly integrated into a single, curved enclosure. A digitally equipped rearview camera mirror and advanced voice recognition technology are available features.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and the Toyota Sienna Hybrid are combined to form the Carnival Hybrid. The Toyota Sienna, available exclusively in a hybrid configuration, offers a seamless blend of fuel efficiency and performance without sacrificing affordability, with pricing comparable to its non-hybrid counterparts, while also providing the option of all-wheel drive for enhanced traction. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is actually a plug-in hybrid, making it eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit. While the Honda Odyssey isn’t currently available as a hybrid model, there’s a possibility it may join the ranks of eco-friendly vehicles in the near future.

Although Kia has not publicly disclosed plans to offer a plug-in hybrid variant of the Carnival, it is possible that such an option may become available in the future. Here is the rewritten text:
